Integration and optimization of new cellular services (GSM, HSPA, LTE) for the network expansion and quality improvement in RAN domain of different vendors (Huawei, Ericsson): Integration tasks comprise Microwave L2 device commissioning & integration into EMS server (Huawei, NEC), traffic [cellular service] routing through the L2 and L3 IP network. Optimization includes traffic redistribution from highly utilized L2 interfaces to low utilized L2 interfaces, bandwidth management of microwave links by changing microwave link parameters.
Innovation in efficiency enhancement of integration and optimization work: In order to meet up customer demand, network expansion and quality enhancement require efficiency in way of work. Innovative ideas to adapt the way of work as the volume of workload increases.

Field operation and maintenance of RAN systems, telecom power equipment, transmission network (Optical, Microwave, IP): First level fault handling, operations and maintenance of base station power equipment, radio devices, transmission networking devices (router, DWDM, microwave devices) within SLA. Maintaining network KPIs, take preventive measures to avoid network incidents, and ensure physical network security.
Demonstrate a leadership role in different opex saving initiatives, liaison and coordinate with different stakeholders and utilization of workforce: Take a leadership role in saving network opex such as reducing auto power generator running hours, keep track of network spares. Monitor third-party network vendor activities, take initiative for manhour efficiency, knowledge sharing for network operations.

Regional Operations Quarterly Excellence award, Best RO Engineer of ROM in Q2,2016 in Grameenphone Ltd- For taking initiatives to build a remote monitoring system using desktop PC which can be accessed by smartphone/laptop. A fault in the network can occur at any moment, that's why a robust monitoring system is required for field operation engineers in order to take urgent steps to fix the fault. Although a dedicated network surveillance team exists yet to act in a proactive manner, field engineers also should have a monitoring system for themselves. In this circumstance, I came up with a solution to build our own monitoring system by integrating a third-party remote monitoring tool into our own monitoring server that enabled us to access our own monitoring server from anywhere through the internet.
CEO Award in Efficient Operator category of Strategy Pillars Champion of Q3 2015 – For design and implementation of enhanced physical security to base station equipment with an aim to opex savings. Our telecom network base stations contain several high-value equipments such as Valve Regulated Lead-Acid(VRLA) battery, copper co-axial IF & GSM cable, DC cables that are lucrative for local miscreants. As a part of job responsibility, it was our duty to protect network assets from stealing. Although the company already took an initiative to prevent unauthorized access by installing a remote site monitoring system SMU (Site Management Unit), yet it has some flaws which were exploited by miscreants. In such a situation, our team took the initiative to design a local lock system along with SMU that ultimately prevented network assets from being stolen. In this initiative, I lead the technical team to design and implement the solution in more than 200+ base station sites.
